Mentor Application Form

BCGB Mentor Details

The Brittany Club of Great Britain tries to support its members in all aspects of ownership of our wonderful breed. We have a lively Facebook group where questions are asked, and advice is given freely. However, there are times when a private conversation is more desirable or useful, and sometimes a face-to-face assessment of the issue is required before a solution can be offered.

To assist with this, we try to hold a register of ‘mentors’ who have experience with the breed and are willing to offer their time and expertise to novice owners. We are in the process of updating our list, and if you are willing to be added to it then please complete the details below. You do not need to be a breed expert, but you may have experienced and overcome a particular problem and be able to assist someone else with the same issue. Hence the information requested, so that the most suitable mentor can be selected in each case.

The Brittany Club of Great Britain does not condone the use of harsh treatment or punitive aids. Adverse feedback from mentees may result in you being dropped from the register.

The list will only be accessible to the Membership Secretary and the Rescue and Rehoming Co-ordinator, as the two people most often approached for assistance, and your name will not be put forward without your prior consent in each case.
